Chris Lodge is a bird and wildlife artist currently based in Suffolk, UK.
My current bird paintings are inspired by species observed in South East England where I am now living and painting. I am currently gaining much inspiration from the estuaries and marshes along the Suffolk coast and am working on a series of new oil paintings featuring ducks, waders, terns and gulls. I am also happy to discuss commissioned paintings.

Exhibitions
My painting of Bewick's Swans has been selected for the 48th annual 'Birds in Art' exhibition, curated by the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Musuem in Wisconsin USA. The painting is currently on display at the Museum until the 26th of November 2023, after which it will be included in a national tour of the USA being displayed in galleries and Museums across the United States until December 2024.

I exhibited at the 2023 Global Birdwatching Fair in Rutland, UK, in 2023.

I have also previously exhibited paintings of birds at the Scottish Ornithologists Club's Gallery at Waterston House, near Edinburgh and at the Birdscapes Gallery in Norfolk. My original paintings are hung in private collections throughout the UK, Europe, Asia and the United States.
